Senior member of Frontline Socialist Party (FSP) Kumar Gunaratnam was further remanded until December 30 by Kegalle Magistrate today.
He was arrested by the Police in the Anguruwella area in Kegalle on November 04 and had been remanded. Mr Gunaratanam who is a Australian citizen was charged for visa violations.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
