Measures will be taken to provide financial concessions for local film producers, Minister Sajith Premadasa told Parliament yesterday (Mar 06).
He made these remarks in reponse to a question raised by Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa as per standing orders 27/2.
Minister Premadasa responded saying that tax concessions would be implemented while importing film production equipment.
He added that an 'e-ticketing' system would also be launched to ease the process of purchasing tickets to cinema halls.
