Six suspects, including three Maldivian nationals were arrested by the Police Narcotics Bureau (PNB) during a raid in Dehiwala last night with heroin amounting to 4 kilograms in their possession. Two vehicles used by the suspects were also taken into police custody.
All suspects are between the ages of 26 and 28. They are due to be produced before the Mt. Lavinia Magistrate's Court today to obtain a detension order. The PNB is conducting further investigations.
