The man who set himself on fire at Vihara Maha Devi Park succumbed to injuries last night, Police said. The victim a resident of Pannipitiya, Kottawa was admitted to the Incentive Care Unit of the National Hospital with serious injuries. The incident had taken place last morning. The 72 year old man had poured Kerosene oil on himself and set fire. Police said that the reason for the 72 year old to commit suicide is unknown.
