The number of those killed following the earth embankment collapse in Mawanella yesterday has risen to two after another individual succumbed to his injuries.
Three workers, who were building a retention wall were buried under debris after the collapse of the embankment. All were admitted to the Mawanella Hospital where two later succumbed to their injuries. The other injured person remains in hospital.
