Former Minister Mervyn Silva addressing a gathering in Anuradhapura yesterday said he will contest as a candidate in the next Presidential election.
Speaking to media after an event in Anuradhapura the former Minister said he will come forward as Presidential candidate through the ‘Veera Dutugemunu’ organisation.
Mr Silva said he would come forward as a candidate for Presidency on behalf of the Sinhala Buddhist people. Adding that he expect to make a change he claimed he would reveal more details later on.
