The Inland Revenue Department said that it hopes to collect taxes amounting to more than Rs 10 billion from professionals in the near future.
A senior official at the Department told Times Online that a special investigation unit will be set-up for this purpose.
The official added that the Department's intelligence units will continue to keep a close watch on tax defaulters.
