The son of former minister Mahindananda Aluthgamage has been arrested over the accident which left an OIC critically injured yesterday (Feb 24).
As of now, police have arrested five suspects in connection with the accident.
The suspects include the sons of UNP councillor Duminda Artigala, and Superintendent of Police (SP) Pradeep Ratnayake who is attached to the President's security division.
They are due to be produced before courts today.
