New Army Commander assumes office
The new army commander Lieutenant General Krishantha de Silva was sworn in to his new position today.
Lieutenant General Krishantha de Silva was appointed as the new army commander by the president on February 21.
Lieutenant General Krishantha de Silva, who will become the 21st Commander of the Sri Lanka Army, is an old boy of Royal College, Colombo.
