Chulananda Perera, a senior officer of the Sri Lanka Administrative Service has been appointed as the Director General of Customs with effect from yesterday,
Customs media spokesman Leslie Gamini was quoted as saying Chulananda Perera was the former Immigration and Emigration Controller.
