New electorate & district organizers for Kurunegala appointed

President Maithripala Sirisena today appointed new electorate and district organisers for Kurunegala today, Presidential Secretariat said.

Minister Dayasiri Jayasekara was named as the Panduwasnuwara electorate organiser while the others appointed were Dharmasiri Dassanayake (Bingiriya Seat), Jayarathna Herath (Polgahawela Seat) and Lakshman Wendaruwa ( Kurunegala Seat).

Former Minister Jhonston Fernando who served as the Nikaweratiya organiser and Tikiri Adhikari as Polgahawela organiser have been replaced. Both of them are supporting the Joint Opposition.

The co-district organisers for the Kurunegala district are Gunadasa Dehigama, Anuradha Sampath Hewage and M.F. M Faheem.
