Opposition Leader Mahinda Rajapaksa yesterday (May 03) handed over a report compiled by former defence chiefs outlining suggestions for the country's security and the measures which could be taken to enhance it.
The report was compiled and handed over by the heads of security forces on May 02 upon a request made by the Opposition Leader.
Former Chief of Defence Staff Jagath Jayasuriya, Former Air Force Commander Roshan Gunathilaka, Former Navy Commaner Admiral Wasantha Karannagoda, Admiral Jayanath Kolambage, along with former IGP's Mahinda Balasuriya, and Chandra Fernando were present during the submission of the report.
