Parliament has been adjourned till August 4 after a tense situation arose between Government and Opposition MPs during the vote on provisions related to Essential Services Act.
The vote was being taken over the gazette issued by the Government declaring the supply and distribution of fuel as an essential service. However, Opposition MPs raised issue over several matters and this resulted in an uproar in the House.
