UPFA MP Mahindananda Aluthgamage speaking to Times Online said that parliament will be convened on November 16.
He also said that the President had issued a gazette notification citing that parliament will be convened on November 16 and hence there will be no change in the date.
Earlier today, Prime Minister Mahinda Rajapaksa had said that parliament will be convened on November 05.
However, MP Aluthgamage said that what Prime Minister Rajapaksa meant was only a possibility.
