People warned as upper Kotmale reservoir reaches spill level
People residing closer to the upper Kotmale reservoir were warned by the Irrigation Department after the reservoir reached spill level due to heavy rainfall.
Heavy showers forced irrigation authorities to open two sluice gates Friday (18) night.
