Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe and three other Government Ministers will give evidence before the Parliamentary Select Committee (PSC) investigating the Easter Sunday terrorist attacks on August 6.
Acting PSC Chairman Dr Jayampathy Wickramaratne told the media yesterday (1) that the PM, State Defence Minister Ruwan Wijewardene and former Law and Order Ministers Sagala Ratnayaka and Ranjith Madduma Bandara have all been summoned to testify on August 6.
Deputy Solicitor General Dileepa Peiris and Deputy Solicitor General Azad Navavi gave evidence to the PSC yesterday for the Attorney General's Department. The PSC also heard evidence from Acting Director of the Terrorism Investigation Division (TID) Superintendent of Police (SP) Jagath Vishantha.
