The Vocational Training and Skills Development Ministry has been transferred from Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe's purview to Minister Rishad Bathiudeen.
This was announced via an extra ordinary gazette notification issued by Secretary to the President, Udaya R. Senaviratne.
Accordingly, the revised ministerial portfolios are as follows ;
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe : Minister of National Policies, Economic Affairs, Resettlement & Rehabilitation, Northern Province Development, & Youth Affairs
Minister Rishard Bathiudeen : Minister of Industry & Commerce, Resettlement of Protracted Displaced Persons, Co-operative Development and Vocational Training and Skills Development
