A biography of Prime Minister Ranil Wickremsinghe which has been translated into Chinese was presented to the premiere at Temple Trees today (Jan 18).
The biography by Sampath Bandara was translated into Chinese by Professor Wang Yu and Prof. Yin Zhijun.
The Prime Minister's Office said the book was published by the China Book Publishing and Promotional Institute, the Beijing Yangshi Press and Sarasavi Book Publishers.
The office said that this is the first time that a comprehensive biography of a leader of the country has been made available to Chinese readers.
