Police Narcotics Bureau officials have sought permission to fly to Bangladesh in order to question five suspects who were remanded in connection to Sri Lanka's largest ever heroin haul.
Accordingly, these police officials have written a letter to IGP Pujith Jayasundara and the Defence Secretary in this regard.
The police officials will travel to Bangladesh after having received permission to do so.
