Quarantine curfew has been imposed in Mattakkuliya, Modara, Wellampitiya, Bloemendhal and Grandpass areas with immediate effect, Army Commander Lieutenant General Shavendra Silva said this morning (22).
The quarantine curfew imposed in these areas will continue till 5 am on Monday (26), DIG Ajith Rohana said.
The entire Gampaha district and parts of Kurunegala district are under curfew
