A new website www.ineed.police.lk has been launched by the Police to lodge complaints on lost or stolen mobile phones.
Police Spokesman SP Ruwan Gunasekara said the website was launched upon the instructions of IGP Pujith Jayasundara.
Explaining on how the process would work, SP Gunasekara said a complaint can be lodged through the website pertaining to the lost mobile phone.
The complaint will then be forwarded to police stations, the Telecommunications Regulatory Commission and the respective mobile phone companies.
