Police opened an armory belonging to a security service firm at the Bandaranaike Memorial International Conference Hall (BMICH) in Colombo, today.
The armory was opened at the BMICH following a court order from the Colombo Chief Magistrate and investigations are still underway, Police spokesperson was quoted as saying.
On Saturday the police discovered a cache of weapons in an armory of state-owned Rakna Arakshaka Lanka Security Service affiliated to the Defence Ministry at the BMICH premises and sealed it off.
