Police have refuted claims that some roads have been closed for the presidential election which is currently underway.
Issuing a statement, police spokesman SSP Ruwan Gunasekara said the election is being conducted in a peaceful manner so far.
He stressed that the Police would provide security to ensure that the poll is conducted in a free and fair manner.
