President appoints 11 new SLFP Organizers; Geetha and Salinda removed

President Maithripala Sirisena has appointed 11 new Sri Lanka Freedom Party (SLFP) District and Electorate Organizers. The new SLFP organizers obtained their letters of appointment this morning at the Presidential Secretariat, the President's Media Division (PMD) announced. 

Meanwhile, MP Geetha Kumarasinghe has been removed from her post as Bentara-Elpitiya SLFP Organizer while MP Salinda Dissanayake has also lost his post as Hiriyala SLFP Organizer. 

Both MPs represent the Joint Opposition in Parliament.
