President directs Police to hold independent investigation into Digana incident
President Maithripala Sirisena has directed the police to hold an unbiased, independent investigation into incidents at Digana Kandy today, the government news portal reported.
Further all government schools within the Kandy administrative district will be closed tomorrow (March 6), local media reported.
