President Gotabaya Rajapaksa today (14) donated his three months of his salary amounting to Rs 292, 500 to the COVID-19 Health and Social Security Fund.
The President handed over the cheque for the amount this afternoon to President's Secretary Dr P.B. Jayasundara at the Presidential Secretariat.
The final rites of veteran broadcaster, writer, and lyricist Nirmala de Alwis will be held today at Peradeniya.
