President Maithripala Sirisena today expressed condolences over the Puttingal temple fire incident that killed at leat hundread people in Kerala, India.
"Temple fire in Kerala, India was a terribly saddening news. My sympathies are with those lost lives and wounded." President said in a tweet.
According to Indian police, an explosion and blaze sparked by fireworks have killed at least 100 people at a Hindu temple in the Indian state of Kerala.The fireworks exploded as thousands of people had gathered to celebrate a local new year festival. More than 200 were injured.
