President Maithripala Sirisena has met with the artist who drew his portrait which was presented to him as a souvenir by his counterpart Rodrigo Duterres during his visit to the Philippines.
The artist, Ranilo Abayan had arrived in Sri Lanka and was about to return to his motherland when the President had met him at the Bandaranaike International Airport.
President Sirisena had presented a sepcial souvenir to the artist while also thanking him for the portrait.
A group of Filipino artists were also present at the occasion.
