President Maithripala Sirisena has said that a special commitee will be appointed within the next 24 hours to probe into the tragic incidents which occured in the country today (Apr 21).
Issuing a statement, the Presidential Secretariat said that the committee would be headed by a judge of the Supreme Court.
The committee will be tasked with submitting a report within the next two weeks on the background of the attacks and other related matters pertaining to the same.
