President Maithripala Sirisena will issue a gazette notification this week to ban two more groups in the country, presidential sources said.
The President has taken steps to ban the National Thawheed Jammath (NTJ) and Jamathei Millathu Ibraheem (JMI) groups last week.
This was done in accordance with the powers vested with him as per the Emergency Regulations.
