An incumbent monk of a temple in Palugaswewa and two youths were arrested by the Police over the murder of a teenager, today (Jan 19).
The family of the victim had lodged a complaint at the Habarana Police on January 17 claiming that their child had gone missing.
Investigations by the Police led to the discovery of the victim's body which was found to have been murdered and dumped into a pit in a forest.
Police suspect that the incident had taken place as a result of a long standing feud.
