Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe speaking to media at a meeting with a group of party activists claimed that information about a Central Bank Treasury Bond scam of over 2700 billion rupees has been uncovered. The Premier claimed this was revealed in a report prepared by the committee appointed to look into the Treasury bonds issued by the Central Bank. During the meeting held at UNP Headquarters Sirikotha this morning, the Premier said the Central Bank Treasury bond scam occurred from 2012 - 2014.
