A Special police team investigating into the death of two students attached to Jaffna University found an empty bullet casing of AK 47 near the crime scene today, since six days after the crime.
Fresh probe has been launched by a team from Colombo with a Forensic team visiting the crime scene today. The five police officers who were remanded over the incident brought to the spot by the police with high security to identify the location where the shooting was made.
