A special investigation into the recent incident which took place in Meegamuwa is being carried out under the leadership of a Senior DIG, Police Spokesman Ruwan Gunasekara said today (May 08).
However, he noted that both parties which were involved in the brawl had arrived at a settlement after holding talks with religious leaders of their respecitve communities following the incident.
Accordingly, the Police had extended its support by creating a feasible enviornment to end the conflict between the two groups, the Police Spokesman noted.
