Prominent lawyer S L Gunasekera has passed away following a brief illness, his family announced today.
Gunasekera was 71 years at the time of his death. He passed away while he was at his home this morning.
The Colombo–Kandy main road at Pahala Kadugannawa has been closed indefinitely after a deadly rockfall in the area that left six people dead and four others injured.
