Ranil's office refutes fake letter requesting support of UN peacekeeping mission
The Prime Minister's Media division, speaking to Times Online, vehemently denied the letter that was sent using a forged signature of Ranil Wickremesinghe to all ambassadors.
The forged letter requests all ambassadors to deploy the UN peacekeeping mission to ensure peace in the country.
Mr Wickremesinghe's Media Office clarified matters saying the letter was "absolutely false".
