The road from Sri Nigrodharama Mawatha to Baseline Road will be closed for traffic due to a water pipe laying project starting from today (Sept 10), Police said.
Accordingly, the road will be closed from September 10 - 12 during the following times;
Vehicles travelling towards Baseline Road have been advised to use the following alternative routes during this time period;
A Sri Lanka Air Force Bell 212 helicopter belonging to the No. 72 squadron has crashed into the Madhuru Oya reservoir this morning, Air FOrce Media Spokesman Eranda Geeganage said.
