Road closures in Boralesgamuwa owing to Bellanwila Esala Perahera

Roads in Boralesgamuwa will be closed for traffic due to the Bellanwila Esala Perahera which is set to take place from tomorrow (Aug 21).

Accordingly, the Boralesgamuwa road until the Bellanthara junction along with bus route number 119 between Maharagama and Dehiwala will be closed for traffic from 2 pm tomorrow until 1:30 am on August 23.

Further, the roads between Boralesgamuwa junction, Bellanthara junction, and Pepiliyana Mawatha will be closed from 2 pm on August 23 until 1:30 am the next day.

Police said that the roads from the Boralesgamuwa junction, Bellanthara junction, Anderson Road until the Pepiliyana junction will also be closed from 2 pm on August 24 until 3:30 am the next day.

The general public has been requested to use alternative routes during this time period.
