The selling rate of the Sri Lankan rupee to a US Dollar hit a record high of 179.04 rupees today (Nov 21) according to the Central Bank of Sri Lanka.
Meanwhile, the buying rate stood at 175.11 rupees

Ajith Gallage, the owner of a Bird Park in Nagarawawa, Hambantota, has been remanded over allegations of concealing illegally imported motorcycles, in a warehouse owned by him.
