The South Asian Election Monitoring Forum (SAEMF) will begin monitoring activities today (Oct 28), a senior official at the Elections Secretariat said.
These members are from six south asian countries and have been deployed in two teams as observers and study tour teams.
The team of observers will comprise 10 members while the study tour teams will comprise 15 members.
The senior official noted that 42 more members from the SAEMF, will arrive in the country, and engage in monitoring activities between November 8 and December 20.
