Following defeat at the recently concluded Presidentail polls, NDF candidate Sajith Premadasa has suggested that he will sacrifice the rest of his life towards the conservation of leopards in the country.
Mr Premadasa made these remarks via his official Twitter handle saying "I shall sacrifice the rest of my life with dedication and immense enthusiasm for the implementation of ‘#PROJECTLEOPARD’ "
President Gotabaya Rajapaksa who emerged victorious at the polls received 6,924,255 votes outnumbering
Mr. Premadasa who received 5,564,239 votes.
