Schoolgirl and one other killed in tragic accident
Two individuals including a school girl were killed following an accident involving a motorcycle and a container truck in Wattala earlier today (Dec 29).
The accident had occured when the container truck had crashed onto the motorcyle that was parked at the Hekiththa junction.
The victims were admitted to the Ragama hospital following which they had succumbed to their injuries.
According to the police, the deceased have been identified as female residents of Polhengoda who are of the ages 21 and 12.
