Security forces to search MP Shritharan's residence

Security officers have obtained a court order to search the residence of parliamentarian of Sivagnanam Shritharan today (Aug 21).

The order had been obtained after allegations had been levelled against Shritharan stating that ammunition and weapons had been hidden at his residence.

Accordingly, the Police, Army and the Special Task Force are expected to engage in a joint search operation at his residence in Kilinochchi.
