Seven persons including a child have been injured in an accident along the Puttalam - Anuradhapura road in Aluthgama today (Aug 21).
Investigations revealed that the victims had been travelling in a van which collided with a truck in front.
The victims had been travelling to Mullaitivu after dropping off a relative at the Katunayake airport at the time of the accident.
Police noted that the victims are receiving treatment at the Nochchiyagama hospital.
