Shooting in Modera injures one

One person was shot and injured following a clash between two groups in Modera at around 2 this morning. The victim was admitted to the Colombo National Hospital.

Police Media Unit stated that the victim is a 42-year-old resident of Karadiyana, Mattakkuliya. 

Police added that those responsible for the shooting have been identified and that they have fled the area. Modera Police are conducting investigations to arrest them.
