The Sinhala and Tamil translation of the Free Trade Agreement (FTA) signed between Singapore and Sri Lanka will be released in two weeks, MP Bandula Gunawardena said at a media briefing.
"We will ensure that the government does not sign any FTA that brings harm to the country and its people" he added.
He also said that a nomination list for a new committee to draft future free trade agreements will be forwarded for cabinet approval.
MP Gunawardena proceeded to explain that the new committee would be appointed in order to function in a transparent manner.
