All SLFP electoral organisers are set to convene a meeting in Colombo tomorrow (Dec 24), SLFP General Secretary Professor Rohana Lakshman Piyadasa said.
Matters concerning the organisational activities of the SLFP and the forthcoming election would be discussed at the meeting.
Meanwhile, the SLFP's organising committee is also expected to call on President Maithripala Sirisena at the Presidential Secretariat tomorrow.
Former President Mahinda Rajapaksa is due to vacate his official residence at Wijerama Mawatha, Colombo this morning, a Sri Lanka Podujana Peramuna (SLPP) source said.
The Presidents’ Entitlements (Repeal) Bill was passed by a majority of 150 in parliament today. However the opposition MP’s were absent during the voting.
