Sri Lanka Navy’s Offshore Patrol Vessel, SLNS Samudura left for Singapore from the Trincomalee Port, yesterday (May 06).
The vessel, crewed by 154 naval personnel including 17 officers, left for Singapore to take part in the International Maritime Defence Exhibition (IMDEX) scheduled to be held from May 12 - 17.
The International Exhibition will see the participation of naval forces and coast guards representing 33 countries.
Samudura will leave Singapore on May 17 after havin completed the events at the Naval exhibition and exercise.
