A special dengue eradication campaign will take place in the Western Province and the Kalmunai area tomorrow (Mar 21), the Health Ministry said.
The operation will be in effect across 44 Medical Health Officers Divisions identified by the Health Ministry, National Dengue Control Unit, Community Physician, Dr. Prasheela Samaraweera said.
The Presidential task force, National Dengue Prevention Unit, tri-forces, and police are expected to join hands in these programmes.
Dr. Samaraweera said that cases would be filed against those who do not keep their enviornments clean from potential dengue breeding sites.
