Sri Lanka will purchase Treasury Bonds worth USD 500 million this year, a senior Treasury official told Times Online.
These bonds would be purchased from Australia and China for a two-year period.
According to the official, this is expected to assist Sri Lanka's dept repayment process and resolve issues concerning the depreciation of the rupee.
